An insatiable traveler and student of indigenous healing traditions, Sojourner learned to work with unrefined Shea Butter in Ghana and studied the medicinal applications of spices through her Ayurvedic training and travels through Zanzibar.

With her extensive background in Ayurveda (yoga’s sister science) her approach to crafting hand-made, organic, shea based body butters is rooted in traditional Ayurvedic principles and influenced heavily by techniques learned from healers during her travels through Africa and Southeast Asia.
